BIGGEST LOSER IS BACK!!!
Greetings!!!

We are one month into the new year and Kids America is as busy as ever!  We have had quite an eventful year so far with Shorties Soccer, Shorties Basketball, Youth Soccer Leagues, an Elementary Basketball Tournament, and lots more all happening in one month.

February promises to bring just as much excitement!  We have now opened registration for Shorties T-Ball for ages 3-6, Middle School Volleyball Clinics for 4th-9th Graders, and Youth Tennis Clinics for ages 5-12.  You can get more information on any of these exciting activities by going to our website at www.kids-america.org

It is always great to see our facility filled with families and individuals who value fitness and fun!  This time of year we enjoy seeing new faces around Kids America.  If you are new, or just want to learn more about the fitness room, we will have a Kids America employee available to you for orientations on safety and courtesy when using the equipment.  Our fitness room supervisor will be available on Tuesday or Thursday from 3:30p to 8:30p to answer questions, assist you with machines, and keep the fitness room in order.  If you can't make it to the fitness room on Tuesday or Thursday, please inquire at the front desk to make an appointment for a fitness room orientation.

Thanks for your continued support of Kids America and the Coshocton Community!!!

Elementary School Basketball Tournament!
January 23, 2010 at Kids America's Indoor Fitness and Sports Complex.

Kids
America hosted their annual elementary school basketball tournament on January 23, 2010.  This tournament was open to boys' teams for grades 4th to 6th.  Kids America had a great day of basketball with 11 teams participating in two divisions.  Teams from Coshocton, Indian Valley, Meadowbrook, John Glenn, and Buckeye Trail competed in the tournament.

Meadowbrook took home two of the three divisional championships by winning both the 5th and 6th Grade Championship plaques.  John Glenn fared well in the tournament as well by winning the 4th Grade Championship over Buckeye Trail and also placing second in the 5th Grade division.  The local team from Coshocton placed second in the 6th Grade division.

The exciting day saw some tight competition and great matchups with Meadowbrook 5th Grade ending up as the only undefeated team on the day.  They came out of a long day of games and won the Championship by a large margin.  Meadowbrook 6th recovered from an earlier defeat at the hands of Coshocton 6th to get revenge and beat Coshocton in the Championship.  Buckeye Trail 4th and John Glenn 4th had a great day of challenges as they played mostly 5th grade teams before meeting in the championship.

Kids America hosts their elementary basketball tournament every January at their facility in Coshocton, OH.  For more info on upcoming activities and events, including our Dodge ball tournament on May 1st, check out our website at www.kids-america.org or contact Jarred Renner at 740-622-6657 or by email at jarred@kids-america.org.
